Valerie is a 2011 graduate of SUNY Cobleskill where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. She joined our staff as a veterinary assistant in the fall of 2019.
Valerie has been around animals her entire life. Valerie grew up on her parents' hobby farm where they raised rabbits, chickens, ducks, pigs, and turkeys. She spent many years active with 4-H in Washington County, and as an adult volunteered as an Assistant Superintendent for the Youth Poultry barn at the fair. She enjoys fishing, photography, visiting friends and family, watching movies as well as reading. She has a four-legged fur child named Evie Rhea.
