Dr. David "Dave" Andrzejewki, a renowned veterinarian with a passion for animal care, was born into a large family in Cheektowaga, New York. Dr. Andrzejewki’s early years were marked by an extraordinary assortment of pets, ranging from dogs and small pocket pets to fish, reptiles, and birds. Little did anyone know that these early experiences would lay the foundation for a remarkable career dedicated to the well-being of animals. A standout student in high school and college, Dr. Andrzejewski ranked #8 in his high school class and the top 2% at Iowa State University. Further, as the youngest in his class, he graduated from Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Let’s get to know him:
- Avian Passion: Managed an aviary in South Florida with over 150 small birds, specializing in finches and canaries.
- Specialized Veterinary Care: Skilled in internal medicine, ophthalmic care, pharmacology, and behavioral therapy.
- Beloved Companions: His pets include several aquariums, turtles, birds, and his cherished Senorita Taza de Vida, ‘Vida’, who was a teacup Chihuahua.
- Diverse Interests: Beyond his veterinary career, Dave enjoys live theater, music, hiking, and kayaking.
