Valerie is a 2011 graduate of SUNY Cobleskill where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. She joined our staff as a veterinary assistant in the fall of 2019, and has loved getting to know her co-workers, our patients, and the clients.
Valerie has been around animals her entire life. As a child she grew up on her parents’ hobby farm where they raised rabbits, chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, the occasional pig, as well as the family dogs and cats. She spent many years active with 4-H in Washington County, and as an adult volunteered as an Assistant Superintendent for the Youth Poultry barn at the fair. She enjoys fishing, photography, visiting her friends and family, watching movies, and is an avid reader. She is in the process of adopting a new 4 legged canine friend.
