Melissa has been working at Granville Small Animal Hospital since 2005. In that time, she has always worked closely with the patients. She especially loves surgical assisting, the lab work, and interacting with clients during appointments.
While she has taken many classes towards her veterinary technician license, she never seems to find the time to finish her degree. And who can blame her? She’s got quite the list of activities she’s involved in! She takes care of her family, which includes her husband, Scott, her children, Leighton and Lane, their 17 chickens, 1 rooster, and 3 dogs, Archer, Gunner, and Jenna. Scott and Melissa make maple syrup every spring, and Melissa will help Scott with his lawn care business in the summer and fall. The public service part of her life includes acting as dog control officer for the town of Dresden. Scott and Melissa also share a passion for old cars, and they own a ’72 Camaro and a ’41 Chevy pick-up.
